After six years of absence, Mario Venuti returns to Cagliari on Friday 1 April with a double set at 8.30 pm and 10.30 pm as part of the Bflat jazz festival, organized by the Domina Edizioni Musicali association for the artistic direction of Marco Tullio Coco .

A highly anticipated meeting with one of the most refined authors of Italian music of the last decades.

It will be an opportunity to go beyond the concert and to get to know the Sicilian singer-songwriter closely, for whom, as he himself affirms, "pop is a noble term, which unites Domenico Modugno and Luigi Tenco, Elvis Costello and the Talking Heads, the Beatles and Lucio Battisti ".

There are artists who need the stage to reflect, the guitar to think, the confrontation with the public to write: so it is for Mario Venuti who arrives in Cagliari to celebrate an important milestone and to make his world play and tell.

The jazz club in Via del Pozzetto will be the setting for an exclusive regional date during which the author of "Never like yesterday", the success shared with Carmen Consoli, will interpret historical pieces and new hits in the purest arrangement, that in which they were born, accompanying each other in the intimacy of the guitar alone or the piano.

The love for Brazil and for South American sounds are a constant in Venuti's career, who will propose, together with the most important songs of his repertoire, some of the songs that are part of the new album "Tropitalia", a project in which the singer-songwriter is he enjoys playing, becoming a pure interpreter, with reinterpretations of some popular songs of the Italian song in a tropicalist key.

Fans will be able to attend the double appointment according to the usual health and safety rules that require the green pass for access to the hall and a compulsory mask for the entire duration of the show.
