Tomorrow Massimo Zedda's official candidacy will be officially presented for the race for mayor of Cagliari in the municipal elections on 8 and 9 June . The press conference will be held at 10.30 at the headquarters of the Berlinguer Foundation, in via Emilia 39 in Cagliari. And the President of the Region Alessandra Todde will also be there, in addition to the members of the political table who proposed the candidacy.

Meanwhile, someone within the coalition would like to widen the field and bring as many allies as possible to their side to increase the chances of victory, but there is the obstacle of the 5 Star Movement, which rejects the entry of Action and Italia Viva . However, both parties rejected any possibility of dialogue with Renato Soru's Progetto Sardegna, which contests the Campo largo method and will continue to remain outside of it.

Officially there is no veto on the parties of Renzi and Calenda, but Michele Ciusa 's words are clear: « We believe that the broad camp that Alessandra Todde supported is the most coherent choice to offer citizens. We don't veto, but we believe in the coherence and in the proposal we have put forward for the regional elections ." The Movement is ready to accept civic lists, as long as they do not hide prominent elements of the political forces within them.

«On possible enlargements – said the city secretary of the Democratic Party Guido Portoghese – another step will be taken, there are parties such as Action, Italia Viva and +Europa who did not run with us in the regional elections, but have asked to enter the field wide ".

Also tomorrow, at the second regional council convened since Todde took office, the commissioner who will lead the Municipality of Cagliari until the elections should be appointed.
