The Rossoblù club has reached a last-minute agreement with Real Deportivo Mallorca to sign the Angolan on loan until the end of the 2025-26 season, with an option to buy. His debut in the new jersey will be on Saturday afternoon at home to league leaders Barcelona.
The deal was concluded after the Italian market closed at 8 p.m., while in Spain negotiations could be concluded until 11 p.m.

The figures: it's a loan deal worth €250,000. The buyout option is set at €4 million, plus a 20% interest on any future resale. If the player fails to redeem, Cagliari will receive a €250,000 bonus.

Luvumbo has played a total of 117 matches for Cagliari. In 2023/24, he scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists. Last season, he appeared 26 times, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists. He has played 14 matches in this first half of the season.
