Caprile-Piccoli-Adopo: it's the moment of truth. Augello in Cremona with Nicola?

It's the day of redemptions. From today until midnight on Tuesday, the options established together with the loans can be exercised with the prices already set. Cagliari will therefore have to dissolve the reservations on Piccoli and Adopo with Atalanta and on Caprile with Napoli. An important operation, totaling 24 million to which, among other things, must be added 2 for the first tranche of Gaetano (in this case the redemption is mandatory, from Napoli itself). The rossoblù club is taking all the time available to think about it and also to understand what scenarios could then open up on the market. Regardless of any subsequent capital gains, it is a significant economic effort and requires further evaluations, although the idea - at the moment - seems to be precisely that of acquiring the registration rights of all three and then moving on to the next plan, with all the unknowns that this entails.
The handover
At the forefront is President Giulini, who is trying to make ends meet - today and in the future - but at the same time wants to give Pisacane a competitive squad in the year of his debut in Serie A. And if at least one sacrifice will have to be made, it is not a given that it will be one of Caprile, Piccoli and Adopo who will have to leave. One step at a time. The next week will undoubtedly be an intense and decisive one for Cagliari, on which all the strategies on the market will depend. It could be, among other things, the week of the handover between Bonato (who now lives separated at home despite still having a year of contract, after having opposed the choice of Pisacane) and the new sporting director in pectore Angelozzi who must free himself from Frosinone. There are several delicate steps to overcome, considering that in addition to being the head of the technical area of the Ciociaro club, he is also part of the Board of Directors with various delegations. The knot to untie is mostly bureaucratic, but also economic and, why not, technical. With the addition of two players perhaps: the Georgian winger Kvemadze (born in 2003) and the central defender Monterisi (2001).
The Spring
Coach Leandro Greco (formerly of Olbia) was also supposed to arrive from Frosinone to lead the Primavera team alongside Daniele Dessena, but the transfer has fallen through for now. The Roman coach had been considered the ideal profile by the rossoblù management staff, he himself was enthusiastic about the idea despite the notable step back having tasted the thrill of professional football for four months in Serie B. In recent days, however, new scenarios seem to have opened up for him, right at Frosinone who could give him back the first team. For this reason, he has taken his time. And for this reason, Cagliari is evaluating other prospects for the bench left vacant by Pisacane so as not to be left holding the hot potato.
Grey-red scenarios
As for expiring contracts, both Viola and Augello now seem destined to leave the Island. Curiously, they could both end up at Pippo Inzaghi's Palermo. For the latter, however, a highway could open up in the direction of Cremona, therefore still in Serie A, even more so if the coach were to be Davide Nicola. Yesterday there was a new meeting between the Grigiorossi management and the Piedmontese coach who will first have to free himself from Cagliari to which he is tied for another two years.
In the red and blue sights
Negotiations are still ongoing with Empoli for full-back Cacace, with Lazio for winger Cancellieri and with Napoli for striker Ambrosino. None of these (or other) operations can, however, ignore what will happen between today and Tuesday with the redemptions of Caprile, Piccoli and Adopo.
