Defeated at home, on the day of remembrance of Gigi Riva, and condemned to the relegation zone by the results coming from other fields. It's not a good weekend (but not terrible either) for Claudio Ranieri's Cagliari, as the results of the twenty-second day of the championship are being defined.

The weight of the final of Salernitana-Roma is relative, with the last in the standings (12 points) hosting the group now led by Daniele Derossi.

What matters is the draw obtained by Hellas Verona against Frosinone, who fortunately for the rossoblù recovered it at the end, denying Baroni's men the 3 points. The Scaligeri team did not make the leap and stopped at 18 points, equal on points with Cagliari, in third to last place. Udinese also remained there, defeated yesterday by Atalanta. One point less for Empoli, who managed to snatch a draw at the Juventus Stadium: an invigorating point for the spirit.

Just above, at 19 points, is Sassuolo (one game less), defeated at home by the revived Monza. Lecce is within reach (21), losing on the Fiorentina pitch.
