A nighttime circular bus service that, starting yesterday, will complement and enhance other connections to the Cagliari coast , along with the upgrade of the Poetto Express line and the availability of digital payment. These are the new features announced by Mayor Massimo Zedda and CTM President Fabrizio Rodin as part of the "Cagliari, a Tourist City" project.

The night bus service is a service, funded by the Municipality, which will guarantee connections between Piazza Matteotti and the Poetto coast up to Bussola, every night (except Saturdays and August 14th, days on which the night lines 1N, L, ER, 9N are in service).

Departures are scheduled from Piazza Matteotti at midnight, 1:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 a.m., with the last arrival in Piazza Matteotti estimated at 5:00 a.m. Service will be provided by two 12-meter buses, each with a capacity of approximately 100 passengers, including over 30 seats. Security guards will be on board.

Another important new feature is the possibility, for the first time in Sardinia and currently on an experimental basis , of purchasing tickets for the Poetto Express line directly from the driver via POS.

This solution will benefit tourists in particular, making access to public transportation even more immediate and digital. The Poetto Express will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with trains running every 22 minutes.

Today, the first 100 passengers on the Poetto Express line were given a free copy of the Unione Sarda.
