Gates closed at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini today and tomorrow, with two days of rest granted by Davide Nicola to Cagliari. The retreat ended on Friday, with the match drawn 1-1 with Genoa, the rossoblù trained yesterday morning before breaking ranks. The restart is on Tuesday afternoon, in view of the away match next Sunday (kick-off postponed to 4 pm) at the Olimpico against Roma of the great former Claudio Ranieri.

In the next few days, news is expected on Florinel Coman and Zito Luvumbo . The Romanian striker was very unlucky: on Friday, in his first start for Cagliari, he suffered a sprain to his left ankle in the 24th minute after placing his foot badly on the pitch. After trying to come back, he held out for a few minutes and in the 31st minute he left his place to Tommaso Augello.

Luvumbo, on the other hand, has been out since last Sunday when he suffered a muscle injury in Bologna-Cagliari. The tests, carried out midweek, revealed a low-grade strain to the biceps femoris of the right thigh . His recovery is unlikely for Roma, the realistic goal (also considering the fact that he had just returned from a stoppage of almost two and a half months) is to have him back after the break for the national teams, on Sunday 30th at 12:30 in the home match against last-placed Monza.
