He was a bookseller and cultural operator. A tireless organizer of initiatives and projects for the community. Goodbye to Pier Nicola Simeone, who died at the age of 74. Born in Gaeta, he lived in Cagliari, his adopted city, since 1975.

Degree in Naval Engineering at the University of Genoa, then moving to Sardinia where he was involved, in multiple battles, with politics, including in pacifist movements and engaged in the field of non-violence, environmental, social and cultural issues. Many remember him among books to promote the spread of paper creatures. Passionate bookseller, profound knowledge of the publishing world, always ready to evoke the suggestions and plots of essays and novels.

He coordinated the activities of “L'Isola del Teatro & l'isola narrata”, the first multi-disciplinary festival in Sardinia, based on a summer school dedicated to the performing arts and professions. He was artistic director of the Teatro del Sale company. He was responsible for cultural animation in the Buoncammino prison library. On social media his daughter Aurora, an actress and cultural operator following her father's teachings, greets him like this: "Good wind Nicola, beloved". The last tribute will be held on Thursday 14 December, at 3.30pm, at the San Michele Cemetery in Cagliari.
