A final appointment with music for the youngest children, to the tune of the cello between tradition and modernity: this Sunday at the Massimo in Cagliari will be the grand finale for the 2026 season of " La musica che gira in tondo ", with Eulide Sulsenti in concert for children aged between zero and six and their families. Two concerts are scheduled in the M3 room , with the 11:00 a.m. session dedicated to children aged zero to three , and the 4:30 p.m. session for children aged three to six , with families welcomed half an hour earlier in the foyer .

Closing this seventh edition of the festival curated by Francesca Romana Motzo will be a performance entitled " Ruggiti di legno ", in a contemporary style that the passionate musician and researcher Sulsenti conceived from a reflection on the cello , not only as a string instrument but as a complex body of sound .

An acoustic material therefore to be explored, between percussions, rubbings and vibrations that bring out a range of sounds that are often marginal or hidden: and the cello thus becomes a true field of timbre and sound research , in its "wooden roars" with written and improvised music, electronics and a strong attention to modern languages.

The classically trained artist, currently working between Italy and Switzerland, employs an interdisciplinary approach that integrates new technologies, augmented tools, and performative practices in unconventional contexts. Ranging from classical to contemporary art, she has received awards such as the Fritz Gerber Award (2023) and the Valentino Bucchi Prize (2024).
