Arts and sport come together in a large production dedicated to dance to be held in Cagliari tomorrow, Friday 6 October, at 5.30 pm at the Teatro Doglio.

The show "Sport and Art: Unite to Unite, Tri-Fusion-Vibes", organized on the occasion of the World Triathlon Championship Series, will be an opportunity to see in action one of the world's most important dance stars, the pride of Italian and etoile ballet among the most acclaimed internationally .

The highly anticipated protagonist will, in fact, be Eleonora Abbagnato , paired with Giacomo Castellana, soloist of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.

Emanuela Bianchini and Damiano Grifoni will also be on stage with the soloists of the Mvula Sangani Physical Dance while the musical part of the event will be interpreted by Lorenzo Licitra, the winning tenor of X Factor 11, the 2017 edition which also saw the Maneskin beaten in the final. right from the Sicilian singer.

To present the evening Paola Saluzzi , well-known face of the small screen and famous host of important television galas for the main public and private broadcasters.

The texts, which express the intense emotions of the Triathlon, are by Renato d'Aquino, while the theatrical direction is by Luis Ernesto Doñas.

The idea of opening the Italian stage of the WTCS with a multidisciplinary show was by Valerio Toniolo who entrusted the artistic direction to Daniele Cipriani, one of the leading ballet producers in Italy and abroad: "Sport and Art: United for Combine, Tri-Fusion-Vibes "makes a" fusion "between arts and sport to arouse new emotions.

A unique event in which sport becomes art and the artists, "champions" of the Italian and international scene who for one evening imagine themselves as athletes, identify themselves in the challenge of these against themselves.

An imperishable challenge that has lasted since ancient times .

A prestigious appointment for Italy and for Italian sport, the fifth stage of an intense season that has already touched major cities in the world, from Yokohama to Leeds, up to Montreal and Hamburg, and which will act as a bridge for the final circuits in program in Bermuda and Abu Dhabi.

And if Triathlon is a relatively modern sport, an art that is also modern will play a leading role in “Sport and Art: United to Unite”: video art .

The extraordinary video projections, signed by Field A1 with Art Director Valerio Ciminelli, superimpose stillness and movement, drawing inspiration now from the Futurists and now from De Coubertin's contemporary painter, Georges Seurat, and form the backdrop to the artistic exhibitions.

Male and female sport, which became Olympic at the turn of the century, sustainable and zero impact, Triathlon is divided into three disciplines, swimming, cycling and running, which take place in succession and without interruption.

A painting is dedicated to each of these during the evening that will see the various guest artists alternate on stage.

Although Eleonora Abbagnato already star of the Paris Opera, and today at the helm of the Company and the School of Dance of the Opera Theater of Rome, is a symbol of classical dance, her life has always been marked by sport, with her husband, father and uncle professionally dedicated to football.

Palermitan by birth, in love with the sea, in the painting dedicated to swimming, one of the most significant moments of the show, the famous dancer will play, paired with another great soloist Giacomo Castellana, one step by Roland Petit, "La rose malade" .

It will not be difficult to combine the harmony of classical ballet with that of swimming where every stroke corresponds to the agile movement of the whole body.

Dance, music and art will be the protagonists of an unmissable production that will kick off a sporting event much awaited by fans.
