A great concert to round off the fifth edition of Clarinet day , the event that aims to unite clarinetists of all ages, professionals and amateurs, from every corner of Sardinia.
The appointment is for Sunday 9 July at 6 pm in the Auditorium of the "GP da Palestrina" Conservatory in Cagliari , in Piazza Porrino 1, for an evening dedicated to sharing and passion for music . To perform, as per tradition, will be the great clarinet orchestra created by the union of the forces of all the participants. During the day, the Buffet Crampon company in Paris will set up an exhibition of studio and professional clarinets. It will also be possible to visit the factory thanks to virtual reality.
Admission to the event is free . The initiative is part of the artistic-didactic project proposed by the clarinet teachers of the Cagliari music body to encourage dialogue between the Conservatory and the various Musical Middle Schools (SMIM), Musical High Schools and other musical realities present in the regional territory. Thanks to this important synergy, the third edition of the Clarinet Competition was staged in recent months.
For the project coordinators – teachers Egidio Fabi, Renzo Marrocu, Enrico Silvestri and Flavio Zanon – the aim is to « bring young people closer to music not only to direct them towards a future profession, but also to help them in their cultural growth. In this sense, music has a fundamental role recognized throughout the world, although there is still a lot to do in Italy».
