Cagliari announces the loan transfer of Zito Luvumbo to Real Club Deportivo Mallorca for next season. The agreement includes a right of redemption, which becomes mandatory upon the fulfillment of certain conditions.
The Angolan striker, born in 2002, arrived in Sardinia at just eighteen , initially playing for the Primavera team, gradually moving into the first team, where he made his debut on August 5, 2022, in a 3-2 Coppa Italia victory against Perugia. In the 2022/2023 season, he played 36 games, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists: a key figure in the playoffs for the club's rapid return to the top flight.
In the following seasons in Serie A, in which he made his debut in the 0-0 away draw against Torino on 21 August 2023, he gave his contribution to achieving the goal of staying up: in two and a half championships he took the field in 68 games, with 6 goals and 8 assists.
He played the final part of last season on loan at Mallorca (10 games and 2 assists), where he will now continue his experience.
