The Cagliari basketball world is mourning the passing of Riccardo Panzan. Born in 1963, he played a key role in the unforgettable 1980s of the city's basketball scene, marked by Esperia's exploits in Serie B.
During his career, Panzan also wore the jerseys of Sulcispes Sant'Antioco and Santa Croce Olbia, making himself appreciated everywhere for his characteristics as a modern wing, capable of opening the court with outside shots and also fighting close to the basket.
Condolences are expressed unanimously from the entire regional basketball movement, beginning with the president of the Sardinian Basketball Federation, Tore Serra, and his advisors.
