It is called “From Sweden to Sardinia Connected by Art” and is the exhibition, the result of the meeting between the art high schools of Cagliari and Lund, in Sweden, which will be hosted at the Mem in via Mameli until February 8th.

Twenty-five works resulting from the joint work of students from the “Foiso Fois” art and music high school in Cagliari and the “Spyken” visual arts high school in Lund, Sweden . The works were created by Swedish students and executed with different techniques, including pencil, watercolor, acrylic, oil on canvas and panel, watercolor and ink, acrylic pen and digital technique.

The project, born during the 2023-2024 school year, aims to promote the exchange of intercultural skills and foster dialogue between young people from different backgrounds.

A goal well achieved also for the Departments of Public Education and Culture of the Municipality, which, for this reason, have decided to make the Mem available for the last Sardinian stage of the project. The exhibition, whose installation is curated by the Teatro del Sale, will be open to visitors in the Exhibition Hall of the multicultural center of via Mameli from Monday to Friday from 9 to 19 and on Saturday from 9 to 13.
