«The soap bubble game. In a glass of water, dissolve some simple laundry soap to perfection. And behold, from every drop, blown slowly, a colored balloon blooms."

These are the words of one of Zecchino d'Oro's most beloved songs. And it's really true, the recipe is simple, but from the union of these two elements something magical is born: soap bubbles. These very fragile creations which contain rainbows of a thousand colours, loved by children all over the world, are the protagonists of an exceptional show.

“The thousand magical bubbles” arrives in Sardinia, at the Doglio theater in Cagliari, on Saturday 21st with a double show (at 3pm and 7pm). Bubble art has been the artistic signature of Silvia Gaffurini for years, who produced the show of which she is the protagonist, inspired by the production "Gazillion Bubble Show" by Fan Yang, the greatest soap bubble artist in the world and holder of many Guinness World Records Primates.

Gaffurini, born in Brescia and also with Canadian citizenship, had the opportunity to meet Yang and become his student and, over the course of her career, she has taken her shows to the five continents. The American show, on permanent stage at the "New World Stages" on Broadway, has been adapted by the Italian-Canadian artist for the Italian public in texts and stories, but maintaining the stronger visual parts of the original.

In recent years Gaffurini, better known as "The Bubble Fairy", has specialized in "family" entertainment , and in her shows she manages to create a perfect program that enchants children and fascinates adults. The performer leads the audience on a fantastic journey, telling, through her soap bubbles, the beauty of nature and the need to use imagination and creativity in everyday life. You will be able to admire compositions of colorful bubbles of all shapes, giant bubbles and bubble games. The audience will not just be passive spectators but the children will be involved and can be called onto the stage to directly experience the experience of "entering a mega bubble", "living the experience of a snowfall of bubbles on the stage", "doing a challenge with soap bubbles".

«I was lucky enough to meet Fan Wang and learned the technique with him. Because beyond passion it takes a lot of study: liquids, shapes, chemistry. Bubbles are an almost living object, and very fragile. The mixture is always soap and water but I use my special techniques, normally more resistant than the classic tobacconist's tin. But the formula cannot work miracles", specifies the artist. In fact, it requires "maniacal" attention, a static atmosphere, humidity, clean air, temperature at a certain level, and a technical support staff. «It's never easy to manage all these things together and one show is never the same as another. But that's what makes everything more special," he adds.

«After having worked for many years in the world of Bubble Art, I felt the need to create something personal, I wanted something just mine, which would give me satisfaction: what is created in the theater between me and the audience is a magic that cannot it can be explained in words, and seeing the family reunite in a moment of lightheartedness repays me for all my efforts", he concludes.
