Carnival programs are multiplying, and the local scene is also offering its own. This Thursday the 12th, Malasorti will return live to the stage at Su Tzirculu in Cagliari : the doors of the venue on Via Molise 58 will open at 7 pm for the masquerade party , followed by the trio's concert at 9 pm , and, at the end, musical selections by DJ Busta .

In a surprising reunion that took place on Thursday, Fat Thursday in the capital, what could be defined as a supergroup of the island's music scene will be back together. Under the name Malasorti, Emanuele "Lele" Pittoni (vocals), Arrogalla (aka Francesco Medda, on electronics) and Francesco Bachis (trumpet) have reunited, in a creative triangle between the producer from Quartu and the two artists, formerly of Ratapignata. And, above all, by a love of ethno and world music : sometimes defining their style as "electrocumbia reggaedub", the trio actually adds Balkan, jazz, Sardinian and Mediterranean influences in general to the mix, with a fixed focus on the "unfinished" as a sonic language .

Pittoni's Sardinian-language vocals thus fill the sparse, atmospheric landscapes of Arrogalla, in a structure punctuated by Bachis's multifaceted trumpet. Having debuted with the eponymous music video in 2013, directed by Enrico Ciccu , five years later the trio began collaborating with the regional label S'ArdMusic , for which they released their studio debut " S'ArdiCity " (2018) and the subsequent " Mala Manera " (2020).
