Bringing theater to light outside the mainstream for the city's audiences, paying tribute to the creative efforts of artists and performers. A mission expressed by the NeroTeatro company itself, for its very first drama festival " From Black... to the Stage ," on the stage of the Sala Teatro Eleonora d'Arborea in Via Falzarego 35 with three consecutive performances, from Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th , in collaboration with the Teatro del Sale .
The festival was conceived with the idea of showing spectators intriguing glimpses of contemporary off-stage theatre from Italy and Europe , with plays and performances outside the mainstream circuits, but crafted by passionate and expert artisans, paying homage to the vocation for art, even non-professional ones , often developed in narrow and dusty spaces.
In three highly varied events, we will start at 8:30 pm on Friday with " Il Felce Maschio ", in an updated and shortened version after the Turin tour: directed by Massimo Melis and starring Adriana Gaggero , Roberta Bellomonte and Fabrizio Murgia , the show walks the line between comedy and tragedy to tell the story of gender violence, which on stage as in reality flows before our eyes with an apparent, cruel banality.
Following at the same time on Saturday is the sound and acting performance " Barbarico ," by and with Diego Invernizzi . Described as a concerto for solo voice, the infinite possibilities of human sound are explored in an anthology of vocal pieces, seeking a possible coherence between them.
The show " The Fall in Time " will close on Sunday at 7 pm . Directed and performed by Sabatino De Massis , the monologue is freely adapted from the thinking of the Romanian philosopher Emil Cioran, revived in an essential scenography that places the movement of the body at the center, with the idea of escaping the frenetic pace of everyday life by giving meaning to actions, even when there is none.
