The memory of an extraordinary voice of theatre and radio in the Belpaese, deeply tied to his chosen land, our Island: this Monday 22nd, the M2 room of the Teatro Massimo in the capital will host a heartfelt tribute to Tino Petilli , with numerous loved ones, friends and colleagues who will commemorate the person and career of the late actor, starting at 5pm .
The dedication returns for the second consecutive year , with the first edition taking place a few weeks after Petilli's death at the age of 87, in November 2024. In an artistic career spanning over six decades and through eighty shows, more than two thousand performances, ten films, ten TV series and another twenty on the radio , the actor was a Rai announcer for thirty years, interpreter of the great authors of history – from Dante to Leopardi, up to Bukowski – as well as a teacher of diction.
A true protagonist of contemporary acting, who still inspires memories and emotion in those who knew him: on Monday's special evening, filled with images, unpublished material, and numerous guests , including Lia Careddu , Maria Grazia Bodio , Mario Faticoni , and Maurizio Mezzorani , the many stages of a human and creative journey that has few equals will be retraced . "An opportunity to celebrate his life and his art, maintaining a connection with him through sincere words, anecdotes, and poems," explains Milena Petilli , Tino's daughter and one of the event's creators. And, addressing her father, she adds: "You haven't disappeared, you've just changed scene."
