Four stories, four perspectives on contemporary Sardinia, and a single common thread: cinema. This is the journey proposed by "visioni sarde" at the Cineclub Fedic Cagliari, which will dedicate an evening to island cinema on Wednesday, October 7th at 8:30 pm.

The event, promoted as part of the cultural activities of the Cineclub directed by Pio Bruno, will be held in the Sala Sinema Arc, on the first floor of Via Falzarego 35.

Four short films, spanning different genres and themes, will be screened on the big screen. They begin with Sara Corbioli 's Ajò West!, an ironic and surreal tale that intertwines Western imagery with Sardinian folk traditions. A young cowboy, on his journey, encounters a mamuthone seeking help.

Next up is Salvatore Mereu 's Su cane est su miu , a film that, through the eyes of a child, addresses universal themes such as guilt, responsibility, justice and the loss of innocence.

With Mamma by Matteo Martinez , we enter a disturbing and unsettling story that explores the deepest fears of motherhood, transforming the domestic space into a place of threat and confusion. The evening closes with Una faccia da cinema by Alberto Salvucci , a comedy about the desire to make films, amidst ambition, precariousness, and paradoxical situations.
