The aim is to explore in the most appropriate way the theme of the Shoah and the fundamental rights of humanity . On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance, the Municipality of Cabras has planned three events , dedicated to children, adolescents and adults.
"In such a delicate moment in world geopolitical history, we believe it is of great importance to accompany children and students on a reasoned path with respect to fundamental human rights : discrimination comes in various forms and it is necessary to have the tools to be able to recognize and combat it - said the Councilor for Culture Carlo Trincas - A reflection that will also concern adults during the presentation of the book proposed by the operators of the municipal library".
It starts tomorrow, January 24, at 5 pm, with the reading workshop dedicated to children and young people aged 7 and up, proposed by the library service, entitled Readings to not forget. To participate, you must register by calling 0783 290321 or through the social channels of the Municipal Library. On Monday morning, January 27, in the auditorium of the multipurpose center in via Tharros, the students of the first, second and third classes of the lower secondary school will have the opportunity to reflect on the tragedy of the Shoah through the show - Senza memoria - by the theater company Il Crogiuolo, dedicated to all the victims of Nazi-fascist persecution.
Tuesday, January 28th will be the turn of adults, with the presentation of the book Night and Fog in Dachau. Bartolomeo Meloni between History and Memory (Iskra Edizioni), by the writer Rita Arca.
Anna Maria Capraro will be in conversation with the author. The event will take place at 5 pm in the premises of the municipal library.
