The goal is to evoke the idea of the beauty of genuine and spontaneous moments , just like a photographic snapshot, capable of capturing the emotions aroused by the pages of novels.

The municipal library of Cabras , with the Department of Culture, starts the autumn season with a new literary review , "Istantanee d'Autore".

“We are enthusiastically launching a new cycle of meetings with a review designed specifically to impress authentic memories in readers through the meeting with the writers of the Sardinian scene - says the councilor to the Library Services Paola Deiala -. The idea of the snapshot, agreed with the library operators, suggests precisely the desire to create a relationship, an increasingly intense relationship between the community and the love for books ".

Istantanee d'Autore includes four meetings, distributed between October and December , with a shortlist of leading authors. We start on Friday 28 October, at 6 pm at the multipurpose center in via Tharros with Cristian Mannu , who will talk with the Oristano professor Sabrina Sanna about her latest novel, published last April, "Portrait of a woman".

The next dates will feature the authors Giacomo Mameli, Monica Tronci Pau and Rossana Copez .
