He, the great, the only one will not be there. But it is as if he were there. Andrea Morricone, son of Ennio, a musical genius who passed away a few years ago, will pay homage to his father at the amphitheater of Tharros, a symbolic place of Sardinian history, magical, in the territory of Cabras.

The composer and musician will conduct the Roma Sinfonietta orchestra with the show “Morricone directs Morricone. The Great Music for the Cinema in the original version”. Two evenings are scheduled: Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 June.

The Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta, conducted by Maestro Andrea Morricone, 56 musicians and 40 choristers, will perform the famous soundtracks of the legendary Ennio Morricone. A mix of the notes of one of the greatest composers in the history of cinema, breathtaking landscape and history. It will be a concert event with the performance of his most famous themes for the cinema. All the music will be performed in its original version: it will be a musical journey to discover contemporary society.
