Oxygen for Municipalities : the recently approved budget increases the single fund for local authorities to €670 million annually, a previously unreached goal. This is the most significant measure of the second Budget of the legislature, which was approved, avoiding a second month of provisional budgeting . Now, explains Budget Councillor Giuseppe Meloni , "we will finally be able to stop spending in twelfths and unblock payments; everything can work better." Meanwhile, " we are preparing to address the three-year budget amendment, which is the heart of the legislature's financial maneuvers ."

The amendment is expected to pass the Council between the end of February and the beginning of March (its floor is expected in the spring), and will use the resources made available by the agreement with the State signed in December. The majority's goal is to advance legislative policies and further strengthen existing measures . The amendment is also expected to re-allocate the thirty million euros that the Region intends to invest to play a leading role in the merger of Sardinian airports .
