The Regional Council has given the green light (27 yes and 20 no) to the bill that extends the provisional budget exercise to April 30. The fourth month of management in twelfths thus begins, awaiting the approval of the first financial law of the legislature that should arrive in the Chamber next week. The opposition is very critical of the accumulated delays, while there is still no agreement between the factions to allow the budget law to be approved in a short time .
The minority rapporteur of the provisional budget bill, Fausto Piga (FdI), recalled that the Region had not approved the budget in April since 2013. «You are guilty of a devastating, unjustifiable and malicious delay because you wanted to waste time knowingly , considering that we had suggested you proceed with a technical budget. Instead, you preferred to give priority to the useless health reform». And the responsibility for all this, he says, «is of President Alessandra Todde who has put in place a wrong political agenda , holding Sardinia hostage for 4 months». Looking at the budget, Giuseppe Talanas of Forza Italia explained that «the task that awaits us in the next few days is not small, we will have to analyze everything point by point. I don't even know if this extension will be enough ».
The leader of FdI Paolo Truzzu added that the opposition «is generous and has a sense of responsibility». In short, «there is a willingness to reason to speed up the times, but let's not reason on hot air» . Translated: answers on the single fund for local authorities cannot be enough, the center-right also asks for them on the front of strategic choices on transport, agriculture, education and health emergencies.
The Councillor for the Budget Giuseppe Meloni has accepted the appeal: «I make it my own: on various issues we will be able to find agreements that will allow the Chamber to proceed quickly and reach approval and». Therefore, «the hope is to reach, in the next few hours and days, a basic agreement to establish times and methods with shared solutions for a green light to the maneuver as soon as possible ».
