A resounding success for budding baking artists. Last weekend in Siniscola, at the heart of the "Spring in the Heart of Sardinia" event, young artisans created an event that effectively combined local promotion and tradition. A "little big" championship for children aged 5 to 12 was held, transforming it into a powerful tool for cultural and tourism promotion. The Casa del Parco on Via Piemonte welcomed participants and visitors from all over Sardinia and abroad, including visitors from as far away as Poland, offering an authentic glimpse into local identity. In this context, the children were the true protagonists: with enthusiasm, creativity, and surprising skill, they created artistic breads, coccoi, and decorative compositions that recount an ancient yet living tradition, capable of being renewed precisely thanks to the new generations.

The initiative, conceived by Graziella Frau and now in its third year, enriches the program developed by the "Sonos e Ammentos" association for the Siniscola event "Spring in the Heart of Sardinia," attracting thousands of visitors for two days dedicated to promoting the town of Baroni. It demonstrated how the transmission of knowledge can become a tangible and engaging experience. Beyond its educational dimension, the event also sparked great curiosity: the high turnout, with many visitors arriving the evening before and staying in numerous local facilities, generated significant economic benefits. Not only tradition, but also the narration of the landscape and history: from the archaeological wonders of the Domus de Janas to the views of the Tepilora Park, and the ancient villages of Posada and Orosei, the initiative helped build a comprehensive and attractive image of the area. The event's significance was further enhanced by the contributions of Sonia Galleu and Cristina Muntoni, while the young participants made the jury's work more challenging due to the high level of their creations. Alba Randaccio, Rebecca Canu, and Adele Deriu took the podium, with the overall prize awarded to Chiara Senette. In short, an event that fully complemented the objective of its days in Siniscola. Among the many meticulously staged parades, market exhibitions, and initiatives spanning culture, sound, language, dance, and identity, the children's creativity also found a highly successful showcase in the arts.
