Massimo Cellino has also decided to fire the coach this season. The former president of Cagliari, now owner of Brescia, has chosen to remove Rolando Maran from his position after yesterday's 2-1 defeat at Catanzaro, on matchday sixteen of Serie B. We are only waiting for the official announcement, but the communication has already reached the Trentino coach.

Maran pays for only one victory in the last nine days , with two points earned in the four games (including yesterday) after the 0-1 success on November 3rd over Sampdoria (who today also fired Andrea Sottil). In the standings, Cellino's Brescia is in tenth place with 19 points, -2 from the playoff zone but -15 from the second position that is worth direct promotion and only +2 on the playoff zone and +3 on the relegation zone.

In place of Maran, Cellino is calling back an old acquaintance: Pierpaolo Bisoli , who he had as a player at Cagliari from 1992 to 1997 (when he bought the club from the Orrùs he had already been in the squad for a year) and as a coach in an unfortunate period at the start of the 2010-2011 season. The agreement should be finalized in the next few hours, with the debut next Sunday at home against Carrarese: Bisoli coached Modena until November 3 and will find his son Dimitri, captain of Brescia, in the squad.
