Marc Marquez (Ducati) won the Sprint race of the Brazilian GP, the second round of the MotoGP World Championship. At the Goiania circuit, the Spaniard finished ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46) and the Aprilias of Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi, who finished third and fourth respectively.

The race started over an hour later than scheduled to allow time to patch a pothole on the main straight. This issue also led to the postponement of qualifying for the Moto3 and Moto2 classes, with the latter scheduled for tomorrow.

Another Aprilia (Team Trackhouse), ridden by Ai Ogura, finished fifth, ahead of Fabio Quartararo's Yamaha. Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini) finished seventh, followed by Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), Pedro Acosta (KTM) in ninth, and Brazilian Diogo Moreira (LCR Honda) in tenth.
