Eighteen fans, including supporters of Genoa and Sampdoria, were subjected to 73 years of Daspo by the Genoa police chief.

According to investigators, the two groups, composed respectively of 10 Genoans and eight Sampdoria, would have participated in two fights that took place on 12 September 2020 and 24 March 2021, born in retaliation for the attack of a Sampdoria fan on 8 September 2020 and whose responsible were identified by the Digos in the following weeks.

Furthermore, six fans have been required to sign during matches: four will have to do so for 10 years, two for nine years. For the other 12 subjects, the duration of the measures varies from two years to one year.

Recent amendments to the relevant legislation include the crime of brawling among those for which the Daspo is applicable even when the facts occur in contexts other than sports.
