After an exhausting eight-year legal battle, there is finally a truce between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The two actors have signed a divorce agreement, but the parties' lawyers continue to be on the warpath: the dispute over Chateau Miraval, the $164 million French estate and winery purchased jointly by the former couple and long at the center of a dispute after Jolie sold her share in 2021 to Tenute nel Mondo, the wine division of the Stoli Group that owns highly prized labels such as Masseto, Luce and Ornellaia, remains open.

Angelina is "exhausted" but "relieved" that this phase of the battle is over: "She wants to focus on finding peace and healing for her family," the actress's lawyer James Simon told People, while a source close to Brad Pitt confided to the New York Post that it was the actor's new partner, Ines de Ramon, who convinced the Oscar winner to sign: "She wants to have a life with him, maybe even children, without the shadow of the War of the Roses hanging over her head."

Brad is 61, Angelina turns 50 this year . Now the divorce: according to documents seen by TMZ, Angelina would have renounced alimony, while there is no mention of the fate of Knox and Vivienne, who have not yet reached the age of majority. Shiloh and Zahara, upon turning 18, officially removed the name Pitt from their surname, while Vivienne did the same informally on the credits of the Broadway show The Outsiders, signing only with her mother's surname next to her role as production assistant.
