There has been a change of agenda for the Chamber meeting today to examine the €800 million budget adjustment . The debate began with the majority and minority reports, then was adjourned to allow the Agriculture Committee to prepare a specific measure to address the bovine dermatitis emergency.

Having received the green light from the Council and the opinion of the Budget Committee, the proposal should be brought to the Assembly's benches around 1:30 p.m. After that, the general discussion of the budget change will continue.

The dermatitis bill will take into account proposals from both the majority and the opposition, and will allocate €12.8 million to companies involved in culling and halting animal movements. These funds are in addition to the additional €12 million allocated in the budget adjustment, but unlike those, they can be spent immediately.
