Edoardo Bove has left the Careggi hospital, where he had been hospitalized since December 1st following the illness that struck him on the pitch, in the 17th minute of the first half of Fiorentina-Inter. The midfielder, owned by Roma but on loan to the Viola club , was implanted, last Tuesday, with a removable subcutaneous defibrillator .

His visit to the management, coach Raffaele Palladino and his teammates at Viola Park is expected in the next few hours. Fiorentina will return to the field, after winning 7-0 in the Conference League against Lask yesterday, on Sunday at 3pm in Bologna on matchday sixteen of Serie A.

For Bove now two options : keep the defibrillator and play outside of Italy, where the rules do not allow it, or give up and try to regain his sports eligibility. First, however, he will have to take further tests.
