Ten days of top-level festivals , 13 concerts-events , a very particular historical evocation of the 19th century, midnight notes and lots and lots of chamber music given to listening and to the colors of Bosa, in the shadow of the castle and the Temo river .

We are talking about the 15th edition of Bosa Antica - International Chamber Music Festival , scheduled from Friday 8 July to Sunday 17 July among cloisters, churches, museums and spaces in the characteristic center of Planargia. An event that has in the inspiration of Jana Bitti its artistic director , in the InterArters Association a precious support and in the Municipality of Bosa, in the Sardinia Region and in the Sardinia Foundation (in addition to the other partners and sponsors) the useful support for the success of the manifestation.
THE PROGRAM - Friday 8 July (9 pm) the Carmelo cloister will host the opening concert : the ensemble "Bosa Antica", composed of Jana Bitti on flute, Calogero Sportato on theorbo and guitar Spain, Daniele Cernuto on viola da gamba and Luca Virgilio on the harpsichord will perform “Antonio Stulichi Napolitano: the sonatas for flute and continuo”. Saturday 9 July , same location and same time, Matilda Colliard's cello and Francesco Maria Moncher's piano will accompany the audience on a journey to discover the “Evolution of the sonata from classicism to late romanticism”. The first weekend of the festival closes on Sunday 10, always in the cloister and always at 9 pm with Giulio Biddau (piano) in “En souvenir de Aldo”.

A double appointment is scheduled for Monday 11 July : at 9 pm, the Carmelite cloister, “The art of the arch” will be declined in music by Agnieszka Marucha (violin) and Giulio Biddau (piano); at 11.30 pm the “Corte de intro” will be the setting for the highly anticipated and suggestive midnight concert. Double appointment also on Tuesday 12 July: the violin, piano and singing classes will be the protagonists of the concert of the best students of the masterclasses (6.30 pm, Carmelo cloister); starting from 9 pm and up to 11 pm, at the Casa Deriu museum, the Itineraries in Time Association with the participation of Jana Bitti on the flute and Daniele Barca on the guitar, will give life to a historical evocation of the 19th century which in shape " site specific "will involve places, spaces and feelings in a journey back in time with music as the soundtrack. Wednesday 13 July, the church of San Pietro (9 pm) will be the scene of the performance of the Bosa Antica ensemble. Guest star Ivan Rabaglia , violin and concertmaster. Thursday 14 starts at 9.30 pm at the Capuchin cloister with the concert of the choir of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, realized in collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, to then continue at the Riviera restaurant, in via Santa Giusta, with the midnight concert along Temo, entrusted to the art of Elena Manunza (harp). On Friday 15 the voice of Zaira Zingone and the piano and accordion of Graziano Solinas will pay homage to Gianni Rodari (at 9 pm in the Carmelo cloister).

Saturday 16 July, again at the Carmelo cloister and again at 9 pm, spotlights on Riccardo Giani on the flute and Francesca Carta on the piano. Finally closing in style on Sunday 17th July. At 7 pm, in the Cappuccini cloister, the two ensemble concerts conducted by Alessandra Manca (flute ensemble) and Jana Bitti (harp ensemble). At 9.30 pm, the Carmelite cloister, the “Bosa Antica Prize”: final concert by the best students of the masterclasses for the harp, flute, piano and violin classes.
