To prevent the degradation of public places, especially spaces dedicated to leisure, socializing and free time, and to raise awareness among young people to respect and protect the environment starting from daily actions, the municipal administration of Borore has issued a ordinance that prohibits and punishes "uncivilized" behavior such as the abandonment of waste, with administrative penalties ranging from a minimum of 25 euros to a maximum of 500 euros.

"In this period that goes towards the summer we want to try to stimulate the civic sense also and above all of the youngest and, also for this - explains the mayor of Borore, Tore Ghisu -, I have prepared this ordinance that we are delivering, also going personally to meet the children of the Borore schools. The aim is also to make young people responsible for 'good behavior' and civic sense, entrusting them with the care of green spaces ".

"In agreement with the head teacher - continues the mayor -, we will make the garden behind the school available to the children, leaving the pedestrian gates open on Via Regina Margherita and Via Minghetti: this is to allow the use and passage of all and encourage the correct use of a public, safe and above all video-monitored place. Just as was done in the area of the bread museum where the gate on Via Spanu is always open ".

Brooms and scoops for everyone. "Tools that will be available to those who will use the green spaces - specifies Ghisu - together with special bins to facilitate the collection of waste such as paper, cans, take-away pizza boxes, which are too often thrown away and left on the ground due to bad education. make public spaces indecent always with the wrong idea that someone else should think about cleaning up. We will check, also trying to stimulate and encourage their civic sense, the behavior of the youngest and, where appropriate, they can be sanctioned incorrect behavior ".
