The initiative has the ambitious goal of narrating and showcasing, above all, the creativity of the younger generations who are being trained in various fields of art, both in high schools and academies: young people free to express thoughts and share emotions through their work. The exhibition, titled "Like a Story: Libro d'Artita, Books That Become Art - Paper Stories Between Memory and Experimentation," will open on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in the exhibition hall of the MiC University Library, located on Via Enrico Costa/Piazza Fiume in Sassari.

The exhibition is part of the Ministry of Culture's series of initiatives planned for the " GEP European Heritage Days 2025. " The event is a collaboration between the DARS-Donna Arte Ricerca Sperimentazione association of Udine, with its president Lucrezia Armano; the Filippo Figari Art School of Sassari, with its teacher Maria Francesca Anedda ; the MiC University Library, with its director Giovanni Fiori; and the CLIC Cultural Association – Circle of Languages, Information and Cultures, with its vice president Alba Canu.

The section presented in Sassari is part of the seventh edition of the Artist's Book Exhibition "Come un racconto": Limitless – Art&Culture on display in Udine, at the Gallerie di Palazzo Morpurgo until January 2025.

The exhibition will be open until October 12th, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. After concluding its Sassari run, the exhibition will continue its tour in other Italian cities.

The exhibition features a selection of artists' books from art academies and high schools in many Italian cities, including the Filippo Figari High School in Sassari, the Sello High School in Udine, and the Erasmus+ experience of students at the ABA in Venice, from the Madrid Academy, the School of Applied Arts in Fiume, and the Academies of Bologna, Florence, Ravenna, Rome, Lecce, Palermo, Foggia, and Bari.

The exhibition also features five works from the Chamber of Commerce's " Paper Art " collection, created in 2015 by the Sassari high school as part of a competition open to art schools in Northern Sardinia. The exhibition also features an installation titled " New Horizons " 2025 by the artist Francesco Picciau , known for his works made from recycled materials, and the volume " Grazia Incisa ," featuring engravings by the artist and teacher Giovanni Dettori and dedicated to Grazia Deledda.
