Summer bookings confirm it: Sardinia is among the most desired destinations for boat holidays . The forecasts: a 25% increase in guests from the United States, + 75% from Chile , a sign of strong interest from the South American market, but also a + 15% from the Middle East.

These are the numbers recorded by Luxury Sailing, a brand of the LM Company group, specialized in experiential catamaran cruises.

According to the company, the change in the target is clear compared to the past: «Until a few years ago, our guests were mostly Italian and German - explains Lorenzo Tawakol, co-founder -. Today, however, we are seeing a constant increase in foreign travellers, attracted by the possibility of experiencing the sea in an authentic, sustainable and immersive way ». The objective: «Far from mass tourism and the large numbers of traditional cruises, our guests seek human connections, nature and quality time», continues Tawakol. «Sharing the boat with other travellers is perceived as an added value, especially by those who come from cultures open to exchange and conviviality, without however giving up the comfort and privacy of a private double cabin».
