Four out of ten Italians have chosen to make at least one purchase of the Black Friday discounts during the weekend.

This was revealed by a Coldiretti survey: "Many citizens - notes the association - have decided to take advantage of the discounts for Christmas shopping, despite the new limitations with the obligation of outdoor masks and quotas in the historic centers of some large cities but also for the concerns about the arrival of the new Omicron variant ".

The national trend - underlines Coldiretti - is to spread the offers during the entire weekend. Overall, it is estimated that this year's turnover in Italy is close to 3 billion euros, including online sales, up to 1.8 billion (+ 21% according to the B2c Netcomm-Politecnico di Milano e-commerce Observatory) and those in traditional shops.

Among the most popular products technology, clothing, beauty products and food and wine. According to Coldiretti, the Covid emergency has favored the emergence of a lifestyle attentive to the rediscovery of tradition at the table.
