«I am sure that the magnetic attraction of research infrastructures will continue to be a driving force with the Einstein Telescope in Sardinia and other ambitious projects».
Thus Minister Anna Maria Bernini Anna Maria Bernini, at the inauguration of the CERN Science Gateway in Geneva.
«Italy – added Bernini – firmly believes that research infrastructures play a fundamental role in providing the scientific community with cutting-edge research opportunities that not only increase the socio-economic impact of our discoveries, but also favor responsible international cooperation in science and technology".
The minister then recalled how the Ministry of University and Research is investing over 11 billion euros, as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, to strengthen the research ecosystem and Italian research infrastructures.
