Basketball, with Raspino out for Dinamo Jones' recovery becomes fundamental
In the race for fourth place, watch out for Brindisi and Venice
The full team has been and will remain an exception, unless everyone is present in the playoffs. Against Treviso, Dinamo recovered Jones, who was not yet at his best after the month's break, but showed up without winger Raspino, who was out due to a calf injury sustained in training. A real shame because Raspino as well as having proved to be an important tactical weapon in defense (he stopped the point guard Ross from Varese) had also unlocked himself in attack in Verona, with 8 points.
The winger will have to stay still for at least another two weeks and therefore will miss the away match in Brindisi and probably the home match against Trieste.
Saturday's match in Puglia alone is worth half the certainty of finishing in fourth place, because Brindisi, in addition to Varese, is the only competitor that can aspire to overthrow the Banco di Sardegna. Except for the sensational return of Venice, which to date is -4 but could also make a clean sweep in the last five games.
