According to data from a Sponsor Value research by StageUp and Ipsos, based on media attitude, image, return of sponsors and fan base of the clubs participating in the Basketball Serie A, Banco di Sardegna is the third most "supported" basketball team in Italy, with 593 thousand supporters, an increase of 8% compared to the pre-Covid 2018-2019 season.

In the national ranking, the Armani Exchange Milano stands out, reaching 1,651,000 spectators (+ 19% compared to 2018/19), the Virtus Segafredo Bologna 734,000 (+ 23%), preceding Sassari. On the other hand, Happy Casa Brindisi 397,000 (+ 13%) and Umana Reyer Venezia 366,000 (+ 5%) follow.

Looking at the general data, the fans of Serie A basketball have reached 6 million and 44 thousand, with an increase compared to the 2018/2019 season, the last pre-pandemic, of + 7.6%.

A figure that contrasts with the number of Serie A football fans, which with a certainly higher pool, show a decline of 2.6% compared to 2018/2019, falling to 24 million and 602 thousand.
