The victory that was needed to avoid the deep red. At PalaSerradimigni Dinamo beats Trieste 98-86 and moves to +4 from the second-to-last place. Veronesi was the great protagonist with 24 points (6/11 from three) but the response from the whole team was excellent, with four other players in double figures: Bibbins (14 points and 7 assists), Fobbs (14, almost all in the second half), Bendzius (13) and Renfro (12).

Dinamo without the winger Sokolowski due to a physical problem, Trieste with Brown on the bench only for the sake of appearances given his physical problems and after a few minutes also loses Ross due to a muscle problem in his thigh.

Waving of white and blue flags and a huge banner with Sassari written on it that seem to give energy: 7-0 with a triple by Veronesi and Bibbins lively even on stolen balls. Trieste's response is a 10-2 run where Johnson is a presence inside the area. The game becomes balanced: 27-27 with Veronesi already at 10 points.

In the second quarter Bibbins tries to break the balance with a steal and a counterattack with a diving shot, but Trieste is always there and a defensive distraction and a turnover in attack are enough to end up behind: 41-45 at 18'. Veronesi takes care of it from the arc to seal the overtaking: 49-48 at halftime.

In the third quarter Fobbs wakes up and produces two bursts: +9 at 25' and then +7 at 29'. The guests do not give up, three-point action by the former Brooks, bomb by Candussi and everything to do again: 76-76 at 33'. Renfro moves well and his tap in is worth +9 at 38'. Veronesi seals the deal with two bombs.
