With Trento's 99-96 overtime victory and Treviso's 91-90 defeat, Dinamo needs just two wins to secure their safety. Maybe even just one, as long as it's the home game against Treviso on March 29th.
The playoffs, however, are still a goal out of reach. Don't be fooled by the 2-4 point gap from the playoff spot, as Dinamo has one game less to play than Reggio Emilia, against whom they lost heavily in the first leg (-22) and are down 0-2 against Udine. For now, it's best to focus solely on staying in Serie A.
Meanwhile, there's encouraging news regarding coach Veljko Mrsic's health, who collapsed at the end of the final quarter of the Trento game. Medical checks have ruled out any serious issues, although the Croatian coach still appears very tired. This was all that was missing in a season where Dinamo has played the fewest games with all six foreign players.
