They won in a sprint, just like in the first leg. Actually, it was even better because the 99-96 victory in Trento came after overtime. A crucial victory for Dinamo that could have saved them from relegation.

Dinamo had a strong first half, initially finding Ceron to be a very aggressive attacker (up 8 in the 6th minute). In the second quarter, they capitalized on the talent of new arrival Macon, who scored 13 points in 8 minutes and also provided two assists for Vincini for a 17-point lead: 30-47 in the 17th minute. He then exited after a slip on the court that caused a muscle strain.

Upon returning, Trento defended with physicality and intensity, while Dinamo loosened up: they lost a lot of the ball (Thomas was a poor player) and never scored from open play. The home team's run was overwhelming: 24-5 and the game was over.
