Halved by injuries but irreducible, Dinamo beat Promitheas 90-89 in the final for third place in the Tel Aviv quadrangular in Israel.
Difficult start for Bucchi's blue and white who, in addition to the absences of the injured Tyree, Charalampopoulos and Bendzius, kept the tired Diop out as a precaution. The Sassari team ended up at -9 but came back driven by point guard Whittaker, who was increasingly a leader.
