A chance to play in the top European Fiba cup again. The Federation has admitted Dinamo to the Champions League preliminaries. The Sassari team is among the 24 teams that, divided into groups, will compete to try to progress to the regular season. Only 3 should be admitted, namely the winners of the three qualifying rounds.

The FIBA draw to designate the pairings will be held on June 26th. It should be highlighted that admission to the Champions League preliminaries involves an advance in the preparation dates for the season given that the preliminaries start in the last week of September.

Already in the 2018/19 season Sassari had had to play the preliminaries, but of the Fiba Europe Cup. He had beaten Benfica and then, from victory to victory, had won his first and so far only European trophy.
