Barumini returns as the capital of culture: the Cultural Tourism Expo kicks off.
The award ceremony will be live-streamed from 10am, celebrating those who contribute, with their commitment and talent, to spreading knowledge, creativity and the identity of the territories.The 11th Cultural Tourism Expo in Sardinia kicks off today in Barumini .
The event, organized and promoted by the Barumini Sistema Cultura Foundation, takes place from the “Giovanni Lilliu” center to the Casa Zapata museum complex .
Among the events are B2B workshops, a meeting platform for the Sardinian tourism industry and 22 buyers from Italy, Europe, and North America specializing in cultural and experiential tourism. The goal is to create concrete connections, develop new markets, and strengthen Sardinia's positioning as a quality cultural tourism destination.
Among this year's new features is the "Barumini Award – Il Betilo for Culture," an award that celebrates those who contribute, through their commitment and talent, to disseminating knowledge, creativity, and the identity of their territories . The award will be presented to figures of national importance, including Giuseppe Fioroni, Minister of the Republic and Vice President of the Toniolo Institute, and Davide Usai , Director General of the FAI.
This morning, from 10:00 to 12:00, the award ceremony will also be streamed live on this site.
