In Sardinia as health councilor for a while longer. Maybe a month, maybe less. Armando Bartolazzi will return to his job.

He is certain that without him, the health system in Sardinia will not improve, given that he will leave "after all the important things that have been done," for example, "the oncology network with four world-class oncologists, such as the director of the IEO who is president of ESMO (European Society of Medical Oncology)."

In short, the Island "is missing a great opportunity."

Bartolazzi then announced that he would not remain a councilor because, in his opinion, the political conditions no longer exist: "I have more support in the opposition than in the majority, where there's a race for positions." He then highlighted how the Sardinian healthcare system is marked by "thirty years of divisions" and severe backwardness.

He advocates for the introduction of innovative therapies and states that without him, Sardinia will lose the possibility of obtaining an IRCCS: "a unique opportunity."

And finally, he claims to have already offered his resignation and that he would only be left with a cross-party agreement that would give him carte blanche.

He rules out staying on as a consultant, except on an informal and pro bono basis . In short, the councilor who, at the beginning of his term, presented himself as "the Thunderbolt of healthcare," has neither the political nor environmental conditions to continue.
