In Livorno to shoot an episode of the program "Four restaurants", Alessandro Borghese was not warmly welcomed by a part of the citizens. On some walls and bridges, particularly in the Venice district, banners signed by the USB base union have appeared that read: “Chef Borghese, working for free is called exploitation”, and also: “Chef Borghese, work always pays off. You are not welcome in Livorno ”.

Phrases that refer to the recent statements by the host in which he spoke of young people and the apprenticeship in the catering sector: “Higher salaries, regulated shifts, growth paths. In exchange for the sacrifice of time, young people ask for certainties and gratifications. In fact, before this job was underpaid: today kids don't accept it, ”he said.

“As part of the Usb campaign 'Wanted a slave' we have posted some banners of denunciation - explains the Usb union on social media -. It is the same chef Borghese who a few months ago made his debut with a few sentences in defense of those restaurateurs who decide not to pay their employees as they 'have to learn' a trade. We would like to remind Borghese that free labor (and in our country it exists in various sectors) is called exploitation. Work always pays off ".
