Bagalà appointed president of the Sardinian Ports Authority: Salvini signs the nomination.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, has signed the decrees appointing the new presidents of eight Port System Authorities . This completes a fundamental institutional transition for the governance of their respective ports.
As already known, the position of president of the AdSP Mare di Sardegna has gone to Domenico Bagalà, already extraordinary commissioner, while the other appointments concern:
- Francesco Benevolo, President of the Central-Northern Adriatic Sea Port Authority
- Giovanni Gugliotti, President of the Ionian Sea Port Authority
- Davide Gariglio, President of the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority
- Raffaele Latrofa, President of the Central-Northern Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority
- Eliseo Cuccaro, President of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority
- Matteo Gasparato, President of the Northern Adriatic Sea Port Authority
- Paolo Piacenza, President of the Southern Tyrrhenian and Ionian Seas Port Authority
"With these appointments," a statement reads, "the Ministry of Transport confirms its focus on structurally strengthening the Italian port system, the hub of logistics, maritime trade, and our country's international competitiveness . The ministry and the government reaffirm their commitment to ensuring that all port authorities in the country can operate at their best, to avoid administrative bottlenecks and promote maximum efficiency in the sector."
