Over the course of three days (20-21-22 December) , the coastal village of Badesi will be transformed into the perfect setting for an engaging experience aimed at professionals in the wine sector and, above all, enthusiasts of Sardinian food and wine excellence.

A very Christmassy edition of the Badesi Wine Festival which will count a multitude of visitors and which boasts the intervention for promotion and organization of the cultural association Il Leone e Le Cornucopie and the Municipality of Badesi , with the contribution of the Department of tourism, crafts and commerce of the Sardinia Region , created in collaboration with ProLoco Badesi, Assoenologi Sardegna and the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Sassari .

The manifestation of good wine

All the events included in the rich program of the Badesi Wine Festival are open to the public, with the only exception: the concert by Max Giusti, Bollicine, on Friday 20 December at 8 pm at the Amphitheatre, with reserved ticket office.

The focus of the event remains the promotion of the fine wines of the area that belong to a thousand-year-old tradition of vines nourished by the sandy soils.

The three days will feature masterclasses, thematic conferences, live shows and multiple activities in the heart of the town, spread between the multipurpose hall of the Town Hall and the Wine Festival Village which will host exhibition stands, tasting areas and spaces dedicated to Christmas entertainment.

The Badesi Wine Festival is more than an event, but rather a journey into the Sardinian winemaking tradition, an opportunity to discover how wine can tell the story and identity of a unique territory. The participation of experts and enthusiasts makes the Festival a meeting for those who wish to delve deeper into the world of wine ,” underline the organizers Fabio Alescio and Tiziana Biscu .

Among the labels present inside the Wine Festival Village there will be: Lepori, Fradiles Vitivinicola, the Li Seddi Winery, Bodà, the Gianluigi Deaddis Winery, Tenute PIsche, Tenute Pinna, Tenuta Asinara, Cantina Li Duni, the Binzamanna winery, Tenute L'Ariosa, Cantina Depperu, Tenute Boniccu .

The Wine Festival Calendar

The event program will open on Friday, December 20 with greetings from the mayor and the presentation of the various activities. Testimonial will be Valentina Caruso , journalist of Rai and Sky.

At 4:00 pm the conference Conoscere i vini delle vite a piede franco will take place, curated by Mariano Murru, President of Assoenologi Sardegna. Speakers include Prof. Luca Mercenaro, from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Sassari, and Dr. Pierpaolo Fiori, Sommelier and editor of the AIS guide.

Inside the Village you can have fun with the entertainment of the mascots and the house of Santa Claus. Here there will be musical performances by the folk choir Gavino Gabriel of Tempio and the Folk Group Beata Vergine Immacolata of Oschiri who will perform traditional island dances. The first day will end with the show Bollicine by Max Giusti and his band , for which a popular ticket with a single seat is available for 15 euros, available for purchase on Ticketone and Sardinia Ticket.

Saturday 21 December , from 10 am, it will be the turn of the presentation of the 2025 tourism program by Dr. Martina Catte, Sustainable Tourism Consultant - Etifor | Valuing Nature.

The seminar The history of bread and wine and its diffusion in the Sardinia Region will follow, directed by Dr. Naomi Deaddis, oenologist of the Assoenologi Sardegna and member of the association “Donne del Vino”, together with the speaker Dr. Tommaso Sussarello, of the Sardinian Academy of Mother Yeast and Prof. Giovanni Nieddu of the Agrarian University of Sassari.

The afternoon will be organized into a masterclass and a thematic meeting with chef Andrea Passeri, an expert on raw materials, to discuss The importance of pairing food and wine, curated by Dr. Naomi Deaddis.

At the Village there will be the opportunity to participate in the concerts of the Aggius Folklore Choir and the Sardinian Dance of the Mini folk Tamponeddu group.

At the end of the evening, around 8 pm, there will be a performance by singer Diana Puddu, winner of the 2024 edition of The Voice Senior.

Finally, on Sunday 22 December, the Festival will close with two masterclasses in the Sala Polivalente: at 12 the meeting Il Valore del Territorio nel vetro, directed by Dr. Giuseppe Carrus, curator of the Gambero Rosso Vini D'Italia guide; at 16 the conference Il Business del Vino: sfida futuro e nuove professionisti, introduced by Prof. Valerio Mancini, Director of the Rome Business School's Centre for Popular Research, with contributions from producers, oenologists and sommeliers.

Once again, the Village will be the heart of games and fun, even for the little ones. Worthy of mention are the performances of the Coro Badus and the Coro Polifonico di Badesi; the farewell party with the Nostalgia Anni '90 show, an unmissable moment for lovers of music and dance.
