Lorenzo Musetti had an unlucky Australian Open quarterfinal: the Italian, who was leading Novak Djokovic by two sets (6-4 6-3 1-3), retired due to a muscle problem in his right thigh.

The Serbian thus advances to the semifinals; for Musetti, however, it would have been his first semifinal in Melbourne. Now it's Sinner's turn.
